The system consists of:

Solar collectors

There are two types of collectors: flat plate collectors and evacuated tube collectors.

Flat plate collectors consist of an absorber plate containing conduits through which the fluid to be heated passes. They are recommended for DHW production systems and space heating systems in residential buildings, hotels, hospitals, swimming pools, etc.

Evacuated tube collectors trap solar energy within the inner tube, resulting in low to negligible thermal losses to the environment. The difference from flat plate collectors is that they have a higher efficiency of about 30%-40% and produce hot water at higher temperatures.

Solar controller (solar kit) that controls the circulation of the entire system.

This device protects the entire system by circulating the water if, for some reason, there is overheating in the water inside the boiler, thus reducing its temperature. This prevents overheating of the water, which could lead to the bursting of the boiler.

Hot water storage tanks (Boiler)

Depending on the number of heat exchangers they contain, boilers are classified as dual-energy or triple-energy boilers. A triple-energy boiler allows the water content to be heated by another energy source, such as a boiler or heat pump (in addition to the sun and an electric resistance).

The choice of the right boiler varies depending on your needs and specific conditions (e.g., a boiler with a suitable heat exchanger for a heat pump, correct connections and provisions to prevent the corrosion of the boiler, proper sizing based on actual needs, etc.).
